RenewYou Physical Therapy in Orange County

In-home physical therapy takes place in your home, allowing treatment to focus on the movements and safety challenges you face every day. There’s no travel required, and sessions are fully one-on-one, free of clinic distractions.

All care is delivered personally by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy — not an aide or assistant — so your treatment stays consistent, skilled, and individualized.

In-home therapy is ideal for older adults, individuals with balance or mobility concerns, people recovering from surgery, and those living with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease.

Services may be covered under Medicare Part B outpatient physical therapy when medically necessary and when eligibility requirements are met. Private pay and wellness options are also available.

In many cases, no — physical therapy can often begin through direct access. If Medicare billing is needed, a physician may need to certify the plan of care. Guidance is provided during the intake process.

Most visits last about 45–60 minutes. This allows enough time for hands-on treatment, guided exercise, movement training, and education without feeling rushed.

Research shows that task-specific training in real environments improves carryover, safety, and confidence with daily movement.

Therapy is scaled to your current ability level. Sessions are designed to meet you where you are and help you make progress safely and gradually.

Most therapy uses simple items already in your home — chairs, steps, counters, and walking areas. If small equipment is helpful, recommendations are made, and options are explained.

Post-operative rehab is one service, but many clients seek therapy for balance concerns, fall prevention, strength decline, neurological conditions, or mobility confidence.

Specialized Parkinson’s care is offered using evidence-based movement approaches, including LSVT BIG® and PWR!Moves® methods, adapted to each person’s needs and stage.

When appropriate, caregivers and family members are included in education and safety carryover to ensure progress continues between visits.

Frequency depends on your needs, goals, and medical requirements. Many clients begin with 1–2 visits per week and adjust over time as progress is made.

That’s completely okay. A phone consultation and evaluation help determine what type of therapy — or combination of services — fits your goals and safety needs.

Start with a free phone consultation. You can discuss your concerns, ask questions, and learn about the available options before committing to care.
